Opis

Ash wraz z Misty i Brockiem wyruszają do Altomare (miasta przypominającego Wenecję). Misty i Ash startują w wyścigach wodnych razem ze swoimi wodnymi pokemonami Corsolą i Totodilem. W tym samym czasie nad miastem latają Latios i Latias w niewidzialnej postaci. Oczywiście nie obejdzie się bez czarnych charakterów. Annie i Oakley z Team Rocket chcą ukraść kryształ, który sprawia, że woda w całym mieście jest czysta i spokojna. Latios i Latias stoją na straży skarbu, więc Annie i Oakley porywają Latiosa, aby ukraść kryształ. Kula, która może kontrolować całe miasto, a nawet cały świat, jest im potrzebna do uaktywnienia maszyny. Gdy Ash i przyjaciele opanowują sytuację, maszyna zaczyna szaleć, przez co na miasto nadchodzi wielka fala, którą powstrzymać może jedynie Latios.
